Marktlink Capital enters into a strategic partnership with Inflexion

By Team Marktlink Capital

At Marktlink Capital, we enable you as a private investor to invest in private equity. This is how you support entrepreneurs in the growth processes of their businesses, because your capital is used to improve business processes, invest in people and resources, and make mergers or acquisitions. And now we are part of such a process ourselves. British investor Inflexion is taking a minority stake in Marktlink Capital. The goal? To take Marktlink Capital to the next stage.

Because our ambition is to become the best and largest platform in Europe when it comes to investing in private markets. That is a solid ambition and we are far from the only ones in Europe who cherish that dream. We have therefore found a partner to support us in that mission. Inflexion's team has a strong international network and long-standing expertise in applying buy & build strategies. The fund has successfully applied this method to several companies in the business and financial services sector in recent years.

We are also seizing this opportunity to improve our service to our investors. We can expand our team, internationalize and invest more in our digital infrastructure. With a stronger digital platform, we will make it easier to invest with us and offer more and better insight into the portfolio.

This transaction involves a minority stake of 30%. The existing partners and managing partners - including the entrepreneurs who founded Marktlink Capital - will all remain on board. We will also remain associated with Marktlink. By opting for a minority stake, we remain in control of our strategy. Nothing will change in the way we invest either: our investment team will continue to review reputable funds and our investment committee will make the investment decisions.

The completion of the transaction is subject to AFM approval.
