The company operates an asset-light marketplace model, runs on recurring subscriptions, and is seeing a growing share of B2B customers through corporate wellness programs. The investment supports further expansion of the partner network, product improvements (app and data-driven personalization), and international growth in, among others, the Benelux, France, and Spain. Urban Sports Club benefits from strong brand recognition, high customer retention, and broad diversification across sports categories, making it less cyclical than traditional gym chains. Verdane brings relevant scaling experience in consumer platforms.
